Tucked neatly in between the Niagara Escarpment and Southern Georgian Bay, there is no better place to be then in Ontario's recreational capital. Numerous golf courses to choose from for both the expert and amateur player. A few minutes down the road are the 14km white sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach. The Village at Blue and Blue Mountain is right around the corner, hosting a wealth of year round activities, shopping and eateries. You can just kick back and relax in the Norwegian Steam Room, Finnish Sauna, Nordic and Thermal Waterfalls, Hot and Cold baths and more all at Le Scandinave Spa situated just minutes from the Village at Blue and Collingwood. A wonderous network of hiking trails meander throughout the area as well as the infamous Bruce trail. If you are geared more towards the extreme then we have just the thing, zip lines, suspension bridge and extreme hummer tours. Plus, there are a wide array of Ontarios best Rock Climbing sites, Mountain Biking trails and some amazing caves to splunk into, where you will be able to see snow year round.
There is always something happening in the area, whether it be the buzz of local artists displaying truely amazing works of art in many eclectic mediums, local muscians feeding the nightlife soundwaves in the local pubs and/or music festivals and Jazz in the Park. The local Theatres provide cultural flare with suspense thrillers, comedies and dramas as well as musical performances. In the summer, there are also a plentitude of Garden Markets and Farmers Markets. Collingwood is also home to the world famous Elvis Festival.
